Features

  • No temperate storage requirements, withstanding both hot and cold conditions
  • It is UV and tear-resistant, allowing for maximum stretch
  • Seals by compression, forming a silicone mass to prevent leakage
  • Clean surface before starting repair, dirt may cause unwanted air pockets in the seal
  • Starting with a 12 in piece of tape, start wrapping directly over leak or crack (or slightly off to the side if the line is active)
  • Wrap at maximum tension back and forth over the problem area, overlapping 50% of the way each time using white center line as guide
  • Progressively expand the wrapped area until the tape covers the problem areas
  • Wrap final layer of tape at minimal tension around the sealed section to act as protection for the high tension seal beneath
  • Repeat layers as needed
