WATTS®, 88003376, Backflow Preventer, Inline, Series: LF007, 2-1/2 in Nominal, Flange Joint End Style, 175 psi Pressure, 33 to 110 deg F, 7.5 fps Flow Rate, Non-Rising Stem Resilient Seated Gate Valve Ball Valve/Gate Valve, Media: Water, Cast Iron Body, Epoxy Coated, Domestic
This 2 1/2 inch lead free double check valve backflow preventer assembly is designed to prevent the backflow of polluted water from entering into the potable water supply due to backsiphonage and or backpressure. Its compact modular design facilitates easy maintenance with a single access cover for in-line repairs. Ideal for protection in continuous pressure piping applications and cross-connections identified as non-health hazards. This assembly consists of an fused epoxy coated cast iron body, non-rising stem resilient seated gate valves, top mounted test cocks, two in-line independent positive seating check modules, captured springs, and replaceable check discs and seats. This assembly features integrated pressure-sensing test cocks that measure pressure fluctuations at three points on the backflow preventer when activated with an add-on monitoring connection kit. The kit collects, converts, and transmits the data values for use in a building management system. The coating on this backflow assembly uses ArmorTek(R), a patented 3-part advanced epoxy coating system designed to limit both microbial induced (MIC) and exposed metal substrate corrosion.
