The Voltex AL heat pump water heater from A. O. Smith is a residential unit with integrated leak detection, smart connectivity and updated water connections. Energy Star-certified, the hybrid electric unit features a Uniform Energy Factor of 4.02 with the 66-gal. unit and a UEF of 3.8 for the 50-gal. unit. It is also available in an 80-gal. model. The fully integrated iCOMM connectivity platform supports features such as the new anti-leak technology through the use of integrated leak detection and a smart anode. It incorporates a zero-clearance design for the sides and back, as well as top and front water connections, for installation flexibility.
