Series 758 cast iron flanged end Y-strainer is used to strain foreign matter from pipelines and provide economical protection for costly pumps, meters, valves and other similar mechanical equipment. This class 125 Y-strainer has a cast iron body and 304 stainless steel screens. Features tapered seats in both the body and cover flange retain screen and prevent particle bypass.
- Tapered seats in both the body and cover flange retain screen and prevent particle bypass
- A 1/4-turn securely locks the screen in its seat
- Allows for easy bolting of the cover flange
- Recessed seat in the cover assures accurate screen alignment
- Bosses at the inlet and outlet flanges are provided for the gauge taps
- Self-cleaning is accomplished by opening the plug or valve connected to the blow-off outlet
