IPEX®, 087476, Coupling, Series: ULTRA-RIB, Fitting/Connector: Coupling, 10 x 10 in Nominal, Bell End Style, 50 psi Pressure, PVC, Green, Import
Repair Couplings are manufactured to fit the Ultra-Rib outside dimensions and is constructed as a straight sleeve with no stop. This style coupling will facilitate most repair circumstances.
- Eliminate infiltration and exfiltration
- Ultra-Ribs 50 psi capable joints easily outperform concrete and corrugated PE joints
- Because of the smooth inside wall of Ultra-Rib, a Mannings number of 0.009 can be used when designing systems using Ultra-Rib pipe
- This compares with Mannings numbers of up to 0.013 for other materials like clay or concrete
- More abrasion-resistant than other profile pipes, and has out-performed concrete pipe in lab testing
- Virtually immune to chemical attack from any type of sewage
- Unlike HDPE pipes, Ultra-Ribs tough PVC construction is immune to premature cracking problems
