Bradford White® AST Storage tanks feature fully automatic controls, the Hydrojet® Total Performance System and provide additional hot water to satisfy the requirements of a large dump of water in a short period of time.
- Factory installed Hydrojet® sediment reduction system: Cold water inlet sediment reducing device helps prevent sediment build up in the tank
- Vitraglas® lining
- Fully automatic controls
- Insulation system: 2 in non-CFC foam insulation covers the sides and top of the tank, reducing heat loss
- This results in less energy consumption, improved efficiencies and jacket rigidity
- Protective magnesium anode rod
- Thermal feet: Unique design provides complete tank isolation
- Prevents thermal conduction through bottom of tank
- Brass drain/return valve
- T and P relief valve opening: Have special tapping on top of tank
- Fully automatic controls: Fast acting surface mount thermostat with high limit energy cut-off (manual reset) for safety
- Water connections: 3/4 in NPT factory-installed true dielectric fittings extend water heater life and simplify water line connections
- Pedestal base
- 300 psi (2068 kPa) test pressure
