WATTS®, 88004110, Backflow Preventer, In-Line, Series: LF009-FS, 1/2 in Nominal, FNPT End Style, 175 psi Pressure, 33 to 180 deg F, Quarter-Turn Ball Valve Ball Valve/Gate Valve, Reduced Pressure Zone Backflow, Media: Water, Cast Copper Silicon Alloy, 10 in L x 5-7/8 in H Dimensions
This 1/2 inch lead free copper silicon alloy reduced pressure zone backflow preventer assembly is designed to prevent the flow of polluted water from entering into the potable water supply due to backsiphonage and or backpressure in accordance with national plumbing codes and water authority requirements. Its compact modular design facilitates easy maintenance with a single access cover for in-line repairs. This assembly consists of a lead free body, NPT end connections, quarter turn ball valve shutoffs with tee handles, top mounted test cocks, two in-line independent check valves, captured springs, and replaceable check seats with an internal relief valve for reduced space requirements. This backflow assembly includes flood sensor with SentryPlus Alert(R) technology to detect excessive water discharges from the relief valve. When paired with an add‑on connection kit, the sensor is activated to relay alerts for potential flooding events. Connection kit options include BMS, cellular communication, and the Sensor Control Monitor which enables integration with BAS via RS‑485 Modbus or the Nexa(R) platform through Wi-Fi.
