Our Story

Since our opening in 1944, Bartle & Gibson continued to grow, opening stores throughout much of Western Canada and eventually adding electrical products to its distribution portfolio.

Our commitment to exemplary customer service has allowed us to grow even more, now offering our products and services in 31 communities throughout BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Northwest Territories. We are a privately owned, 100% Canadian organization that our customers, suppliers, and employees have come to trust for over 75 years.

Since opening our doors, Bartle & Gibson’s philosophy still rings true today: “Look after your customers the way you would want to be looked after, and business will look after itself.”

Bartle & Gibson is more than a wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating, and electrical supplies. Through every facet of the company – front line staff to the president - Bartle & Gibson emphasizes the value of relationships through our unwavering commitment to the best service.

Bartle & Gibson truly values feedback from our customers, employees, and vendors. It’s constructive comments like yours that allow us to improve our service and attend to the needs of the communities we serve. We welcome and encourage you to contact us directly.
