The model RT-175 Electric Soldering Gun is a lightweight, rugged electric soldering gun that sweats joints on copper tube up to 3". It operates with standard 115V or 230V power. There is no open flame to worry about igniting wallboard, insulation, or studs and joists in the walls. Simply place the carbon tips on the copper fitting and remove when the solder begins to flow.
