IPEX® Philmac® 3G™ Coupling, Coupling Fitting/Connector, 1 in Nominal, Compression End Style, 230 psi Pressure, Thermoplastic
Philmac IPS Series fittings come pre-assembled and ready for use with all SDR's and pressure ratings of IPS-OD poly pipe. No solvent cementing or special tools are needed. Simply insert the pipe into the fitting until feeling the first point of resistance and then tighten the nut. Visual stops and gradually increasing mechanical resistance as the nut is turned prevents over-tightening. Ther result is a fitting with 200 psi cold water rating, high pullout resistance and longevity for many years in buried applications.
