The IDEAL 61-948 SureTrace™ PLUS Open/Closed Circuit Tracer is a CAT III 600 V rated digital circuit tracer that provides an easy-to-use trouble shooting tool for finding: breakers and fuses; conductors in walls, ceilings, and floors; dead shorts; opens on conductors; splice errors (shared neutrals).
- Receiver features dual high visibility displays visible in all conditions/positions via a patented 180 main display and patented TightSight secondary display making high/low tracing and breaker identification in tight spaces easier
- Transmitter features a patent pending built in continuity test eliminating the need for a second tester when searching for wiring faults
- Receiver also features an NCV that indicates the presence of 24 to 600V AC, a work light for use in poor lighting conditions and a Mute function for working in noise sensitive areas
- Transmitter indicates 8 different voltage levels between 24 - 600 V AC and 12 to 600 V DC as well as DC polarity and features a magnetic/hook strap clip for hands free use (strap sold separately) as well as an integrated kick stand for set up on flat surfac
- Over molded Industrial design enhances gripping and allows the Receiver and Transmitter to withstand a 6.6-foot (2 m) drop
