Refrigeration Technologies® Viper® Coil Cleaner, Liquid Form, Blue, Composition: 5 - 40% Sodium Hydroxide
Nothing cleans or foams better than Viper™ brite. This highly aggressive non-acid, alkaline coil brightener is recommended for use on heavily soiled coils that have not been cleaned in years. A 10:1 dilution will provide abundant amounts of foaming power that will push debris out of deeply impacted coils. The alkaline effect strips hard oxidation from aluminum fins to restore the coil to a bright metallic shine. Please respect the power of this chemical and always wear full protective gear.
- Viper™ brite is a concentrate containing sodium hydroxide in combination with high-performance degreasing detergents and soil release agents
- The sodium hydroxide in Viper™ brite reacts with the aluminum fins to release hydrogen gas
- The evolving gas combines with the detergents in the product to produce a rich expanding foam
- This action helps loosen and push embedded debris out of the coil body
- This product should not be used on aluminum fins that are severally corroded or on coils where the manufacturer specifies the use of an aluminum safe product
