3M™ Fire Barrier Sealant CP 25WB+ is a red, one-component, gun-grade, latex-based, intumescent firestop sealant. This firestop sealant is formulated to dry and form a monolithic seal that also acts as a barrier to airborne sound transmission. Fire barrier sealant helps control the spread of fire, smoke and noxious gases before, during and after exposure to a fire.
- STC RATING OF 54 - When tested in a STC 54-rated wall assembly
- PREMIUM INTUMESCENT LATEX SEALANT - For use as a one-part fire, smoke, toxic gas sealant in a non-halogen formula
- WATER-BASED SEALANT - Easy application sealant is paintable, re-enterable and repairable with easy clean-up
- SOUND BARRIER - Sealant acts as a barrier to help minimize airborne sound transmission
- Applied with conventional caulking equipment with excellent caulk rate
