3M™ Highland™ color-coded standard male disconnect terminal offers superior holding force while allowing for quick and easy disconnect. The terminal has a vinyl insulated, butted seam barrel and withstands temperatures of -40 to 221 deg F (-40 to 105 deg C). Its electrolytic copper construction offers good conductivity and a tin-plated finish resists corrosion. 3M™ Highland™ color-coded standard male disconnect terminal attaches to the mating part with a tongue that slips over the female tab. It has a butted seam barrel that is covered by a funnel designed, rigid molded, PVC sleeve which serves to guide the wire into position. The PVC sleeve provides electrical contacts and mechanical stress relief at the point of insulation. The vinyl sleeve insulation is abrasion-resistant and flared to ensure easy crimping.
