The Scepter JBox is ideally suited for indoor and outdoor use and made to perform in the most demanding environments. Made of PVC it is extremely durable and resistant to impact in a wide range of temperatures and not adversely affected by water and chemicals. The Scepter JBox is entirely non-metallic, eliminating corrosion concerns with screws and other metal parts and NEMA 1, 2, 3R, 4, 4X, 6*, 6P*, 12 and 13 rated.
- Junction boxes form an integral part of a circuit protection system
- Constructed to provide a deg of protection to personnel against incidental contact with the enclosed equipment and to provide a deg of protection to the enclosed equipment against specified environmental conditions
- JBX boxes are molded of PVC, are entirely non-metallic and provide NEMA Type 1, 2, 3R, 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12, 13 protection
- JBX junction boxes are intended for installation within a rigid non-metallic conduit system (PVC) or for use independently
- Designed and approved for use in both indoor and outdoor applications, JBX junction boxes allow for accessibility for installation of wire and cable in continuous lengths and to enclose joints and splices
- JBX junction boxes can also be used to enclose electrical equipment in non-hazardous locations
- Injection molded gasket permanently fixed to the cover - no installation required, no loose hardware for easy installation
- Close by hand - tool assist to open, 100% non-metallic - corrosion resistant material
- Molded-in - no loose parts to assemble, located on corners out of the way of conduit connections
- Flush with the back of the box for close surface mounting
- Integrated design of mounting feet offers improved strength
- No ribs - offers a flat, smooth surface for mounting of devices or labels
- Easy reference for drilling knockouts
- Makes conduit alignment a snap
- -40 to 122 deg F operating temperature
